Join us for the SCAMP Walk & Roll Games. This year the event is free for all. Walk or roll (No
bikes allowed) around the track to earn bands. The bands are then turned in and walkers/rollers
earn raffle tickets. Use your raffle tickets to win great prize baskets! Also earn tickets through
our fun kid competitions, or purchase 1 for $1, or 25 for $20.
The first 500 people to visit our food tent will receive a free lunch including a hot dog, chips,
water and piece of candy.
Don’t forget to bring your dog and enter our Dog Contest. Contests include: waggiest tail, best
trick, and dog the judges want to bring home. $5 entry fee per dog at event.
Pre-order your Walk & Roll tshirts. Tshirts will be for sale at the event in limited sizes. Online

SUMMER SHINDIG

Saturday, June 1 | 6:00 - 10:00pm
Join us for a roaring casino night to benefit Clarkston SCAMP. The evening promises to be full of
fun, good food, and amazing company, all while raising money for our SCAMPers. The evening
will kick off at 6pm with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, as well as live music and casino games.
Please note that games are for fun and bragging rights - no actual money will be bet or won.At
7pm, our Live Auction will begin with our talented auctioneer, Sheriff Chris Swanson. Once our
amazing live auction items have been won, we will serve a strolling dinner. Music and games will
continue, as will our Silent Auction and Dedication Table which allows patrons to donate SCAMP
Camp Wish List items. The evening will close at 10pm.

50 YEARS OF SCAMP
We will be celebrating 50 years of SCAMP in 2025. To celebrate we will be hosting some amazing
events. One of these events we are excited to announce will be the return of the Home Tour. This
will be a one time event, make sure to mark it on your calendar so you don’t miss it. The Home
Tour will be taking place on May 31 - June 1 2025. Stay tuned for more information regarding this
event and to commemorate this milestone.
SCAMPER & STAFF APPLICATIONS
Staff Applications will be posted March 1st.
SCAMPer Registrations will open on April 6th at 9am.

SCAMP is June 24 - July 31, no Scamp the week of July 4th! SCAMP runs Monday- Wednesday
from 9am-2pm. Staff training will take place the week of June 17th. Clarkston Scamp employees do
not need to be employed by or attend Clarkston Schools.
Lead Teachers - All certified staff are eligible to apply for a lead teacher position. This includes: special
education teachers and general education teachers with a valid teaching certificate, school
psychologists, school social workers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical
therapists, school counselors, and administration. Lead teachers are responsible for creating and
implementing weekly camp activity schedules, overseeing a group of 6-10 scampers and group staff
while participating in camp activities, supporting SCAMPers with daily living tasks, and participating in
camp activities.
Adult Aides - Any adults who have graduated high school by the time of application are eligible to apply
to be an adult aide. Adult aides are responsible for supporting SCAMPers with daily living tasks and
participating in camp activities.
Student Aides - Students who have completed 9th-12th grade by the first day of camp can apply to be a
student aide. Student aides are responsible for interacting with SCAMPers during camp activities.
Volunteers - Every year we accept a small number of volunteers. Students who have completed 6th-8th
grade by the first day of camp can apply to be a volunteer. Volunteers are scamper buddies.
