Terms of Sail – Maximum capacity is 10 guests on the Suzy Ann and four guests on the Belmont.
This must not be exceeded under any circumstances. Children under the age of 15 years are not
permitted on board. Please wear non-slip shoes, high heels are strictly forbidden. No dogs are
permitted on board. All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT, fuel and crew where appropriate. A
additional nominal charge of £10 per guest is levied by the National Trust. This will be waived
upon production of a valid National Trust membership. Full prepayment is required at the time of
booking for all boat reservations. This includes food and beverage items, and the National Trust
fee where applicable. All food and drink consumed on board must be provided by Cliveden House.
Boats will sail at the booked time with allowances for unavoidable delays and excess river trac
up to 30 minutes. In the event of rain, boats still sail. We operate a 48-hour cancellation policy.
Cliveden House reserves the right to cancel bookings for security and safety reasons. Cliveden
House reserves the right to amend these Terms of Sail without prior notice.
The Cliveden Flotilla
The Cliveden boathouse is ideally located on
one of the most beautiful reaches of the River
Thames and is home to the Cliveden flotilla of
lovingly maintained vintage launches.
A jaunt down the river in one of these treasures,
whether for an afternoon tea, a picnic or a
champagne cruise, is the perfect choice for
eortless enjoyment.
Suzy Ann
Built in 1911 and restored for Cliveden in 1986,
Suzy Ann won first prize for the best
professional restoration of a vintage boat at
the Henley Traditional Boat Rally. Suzy Ann is
the flagship of the Cliveden flotilla and can
accommodate up to 10 guests in great style
and comfort.
Belmont
A resplendent 33-foot Thames slipper launch
built in the 1930s, Belmont has been lovingly
restored and is an elegant way to cruise the
Thames for up to four guests.

Dishes may change slightly according to seasonal supplies. Bespoke menus are available on request with
prior notice. Please note that we can cater for all dietary requirements with prior notice, including dairy
free, gluten free, vegan and more. All food and drink consumed on board must be provided by Cliveden
House. Please allow 24 hours’ notice for standard food orders, 24 hours’ notice for bespoke menus.
Cliveden House is ideally situated for sight-seeing trips to many nearby
places of historical interest surrounding the Estate. The Cliveden flotilla
is available for charter to residents and non-residents alike, for periods
of one hour up to a whole day. Amongst many possible destinations,
these prove to be the most popular year after year
Bray
A trip to Bray oers
magnificent views of the
hanging woods of Cliveden
and breath-taking views of
the House perched up on
the hillside. A journey to The
Waterside Inn will take an
hour, but please note you
may only disembark here
if you have a reservation. A
trip to Bray Marina will take
an additional 30 minutes.
Disembark here to explore
the village or take a short
taxi ride to Bray’s other
three Michelin-starred
restaurant, The Fat Duck.
Windsor
A trip to Windsor takes 2.5 hours and allows
you to take in stunning views along the route,
including the spectacular Windsor Castle.

takes two hours and
meanders through the
beautiful riverside village
of Cookham and open
countryside. Disembark
