CONCRETE CARE
Concrete and Weathered Concrete – Our concrete has inherent variations in shading
and color as well as in the casting process, making each table unique; no two are
exactly alike. As a natural outcome of the casting process, concrete round tables are
not symmetrical, and any binding edge may not be flush to the concrete. Concrete
may exhibit spots, hairline cracks and scratches due to exposure to the elements
and usage.
CARE
3"-THICK CONCRETE
Clean with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive soaps and cleansers. Wipe up spills quickly
to avoid staining. Do not cut directly on the concrete tabletops. When not in use, a
custom-fit cover must be used to guard against moisture and the elements. This will
protect the finish and prolong the life of your furniture.
To remove scuff marks and slight scratches from tabletops, clean with Holloway
House® Lemon Oil. Place a small amount of the lemon oil onto a clean cotton cloth
and wipe down entire surface of concrete until the oil is evenly applied and marks
disappear. Use another clean cotton cloth to wipe up excess oil until surface is dry
to the touch.
Tabletops are sealed with a clear, water-based acrylic coating. Resealing becomes
necessary when highs and lows in the sheen of your tabletop become visible.
Depending on amount of use and exposure to the elements, resealing may need to
be completed at the end of each season, or as needed.
