When applying for homestead exemption due to age (65 years
of
older) please
attach the following information with
your
completed application:
• A copy
of
South Carolina
driver's
license
or
South Carolina ID
of
any
person(s) registered on the property.
• A copy
of
social security
card
of
any person(s) registered on the
property.
When applying for homestead exemption due to being declared totally and
permanently disabled by a state agency/social security please attach the
following with
your
completed application:
• A copy
of
a letter from the social security office certifying the date you
became disabled.
• A copy
of
South Carolina driver's license
or
South Carolina ID
of
any
person(s) registered on the property.
• A copy
of
social security card
of
any person(s) registered on the
property.
