Part I and Part II Score
The State Education Department / The University of the State of New York
June 2022 Regents Exam in Global History and Geography II (Grade 10)
Chart for Converting Total Test Raw Scores to Final Examination Scores (Scale Scores)
To determine the total score for Part I and Part II, add the total number of Part I multiple-choice questions answered correctly to the
total credits received for Part II. For example, a student answering 22 multiple-choice questions correctly on Part I and receiving 5
credits on Part II would have a total score for Part I and Part II of 27: 22 + 5 = 27.
To determine the student’s final score, locate the student’s total essay score across the top of the chart and the total Part I and Part II
score down the side of the chart. The point where those two scores intersect is the student’s final examination score. For example, a
student receiving a total essay score of 3 and a total Part I and Part II score of 27 would receive a final examination score of 80.
