Things to Remember ☺
1. Medication – remember to bring your medication (keep it in your carry-on for easy access)
2. Jacket – Evenings might get chilly, so bring a sweater or jacket and be prepared for rainy days
3. Layers – The temperature in the bus is set at 21-22 degrees Celsius, so dress in layers according to your
comfort level
4. Luggage Handling – The driver will assist with loading and unloading luggage from the motorcoach.
Each traveller is responsible for transporting their luggage from the motorcoach to their hotel room
and to the motor coach on departure. Please note that in the case of luggage left at the hotel, including
the lobby, that unfortunately, the motor coach will not be able to turn around to retrieve the items.
Guests will be responsible to contact hotel and organize delivery of items to them at their own cost.
5. Missing Luggage at End of Tour – Dream Vacation Tours is not responsible if a guest accidentally takes
the wrong luggage upon leaving the tour. To avoid any confusion, please ensure that your luggage is
well tagged and clearly labelled with your name. In the event that your luggage is mistakenly taken by
another guest, please communicate with Dream Vacation Tours so that we can try to identify who has
your luggage. Once that person is identified, you will be responsible for retrieving it at your own cost
and time.
6. Luggage Allowance – Each traveller is permitted one large suitcase and one smaller carry-on.
a. Note: Overhead compartment space has a 9” opening, so a backpack-style carry-on is
recommended – any carry-on that doesn't fit overhead must be stowed at your feet
7. Luggage Tags – Please ensure your luggage is tagged, any untagged baggage may be left on the motor
coach if unclaimed
a. If luggage is taken by mistake, guests must retrieve it at their own expense and time
8. Arrive Early – Please board the motor coach promptly when ready; departure may be earlier if
everyone is on board
9. Be Punctual – Let's avoid being the last one on the motor coach
10. Seat Assignment – Seats are assigned based on request at time of booking (first booked, first choice).
Seats are assigned for the duration of the tour, but passengers are welcome to switch among
themselves (within their group)
11. Smoking – Smoking or vaping is prohibited on the motor coach and within nine (9) meters of the motor
coach door
12. Breaks – Morning and afternoon breaks are 15 minutes, lunch and dinner breaks are 45 minutes to 1
hour
13. On-Board Washroom – The motor coach has a lavatory, and we typically stop for breaks every 2 hours
or so
14. No Scents – To accommodate allergies, please refrain from using perfume or cologne
15. Travel Insurance – Ensure you have adequate Cancellation & Interruption coverage, as well as,
Emergency Medical Insurance coverage. In case you have to leave the tour early for whatever reason,
Dream Vacation Tours is not responsible for any cost incurred. You will also forfeit the rest of your tour
with no reimbursement for any missing part of the tour.
16. Celebrating – Inform the Tour Director if you're celebrating a birthday or anniversary
17. ID/Passport – Please carry your valid Passport (for USA and International Tours) or a valid picture ID
for other tours. For any international travel (including cruises), passports must be valid for six (6)
months past the arrival date into Canada. It is also the responsibility of each guest to ensure any
applicable visas AND/OR Entry Requirements for all countries visited have been obtained prior to
departure. Failure to obtain correct documentation will mean the guest will be denied entry into certain
