Dear Sir or Madam,
We kindly request your quotation for the following services to accommodate new space
requirements for the US District Court.
All Items quoted for F.o.b. Destination
Read and use for quoting the annexed documents. Vendor must submit a quotation in accordance
with the product list included as annex and the Excel document attached, completed. Proposal for
brand name or equal furniture and products must include delivery and installation for the
following areas in CH 125:
1.00 - Judgeโ€™s Office:
1a.00 - Judgeโ€™s desk Seating
1b.00 โ€“ Judgeโ€™s Lounge Seating
1c.00 โ€“ Judgeโ€™s Conference Seating
4.00 โ€“ Kitchen Area:

General Millwork requirements/submittals:
1. Desks: Vendor to provide corresponding wire management channels at desks to avoid
visible hanging cabling or to be lifted from the floor. Access for cabling at modesty
panels connecting to walls where connections are available and where worksurfaces are
required to reach electrical/data connections. Grommets required to provide required
wiring access to top of worksurfaces. Review plan/diagram for walls noted as providing
electrical/data for furniture.
2. Vendor to submit Shop drawings for final Courts approval.
3. Vendor to provide finished wood sample to be submitted for final Courtsโ€™ approval.
4. Mechanisms: Connecting ports, hinges, drawer slides, grommets, etc. to be presented to
the Courts for approval. Drawer mechanisms to be full extending and functional.
5. Pulls for drawers and doors to be concealed. Submit sample for approval.
6. Final grommet locations to be determined by the Courts.
Vendor Requirements:
โ€ข Vendors should follow US Court District security and safety requirements.
โ€ข Consider installation after regular working hours.
โ€ข Vendor shall take field measurements and verify field conditions, carefully compare such
field measurements and conditions with other information known to vendor prior to the
performance of work. Vendor must ensure proper fitting with existing conditions and the
work of others and to report findings to the procurement officer or project manager in
charge.
โ€ข Quotes may be e-mailed to the listed address below by Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at
5:00 p.m. local time. Quotes submitted in person must be delivered by the same time at
the location listed as delivery address below and addressed to Attention: Lizette
Mรกrquez.
โ€ข Submit a quotation by area indicating each furniture piece description and cost.
โ€ข Installation costs must be submitted in a separate line from delivery costs.
โ€ข A fixed price award from this RFQ will be made based on the lowest priced, technically
acceptable offer.
โ€ข Delivery of products is desired within 90 days after receipt of orders (ARO)
โ€ข Please carefully review the terms and conditions attached, especially the Provision 2-
100, Brand Name or Equal. All quotes for โ€œor equalโ€ products need to follow
instructions provided at this provision so that determination as to equality of the
product offered can be made. Failure to do so may render your quotation non-
responsive and disqualified. To this end, we have included a spreadsheet that you
may use to enter the specifications of the product offered if an โ€œor equalโ€ product is
offered. Please make sure to include with the proposal illustrations of the furniture
and products offered that will provide sufficient evidence that the same style and
lines described in the RFQ are offered.

Provision 2-100, Brand Name or Equal (APR 2013)
(a)One or more items called for by this solicitation have been identified by a brand-name-or-
equal product description. Offers offering equal products will be considered for award if these
products are clearly identified and are determined by the judiciary to contain all of the essential
characteristics of the brand-name products referenced in the solicitation.
