How to apply
for financial aid
1. Complete the Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at
fafsa.ed.gov. Pacific’s FAFSA code is
001329. Get a validated electronic
signature (PIN) at pin.ed.gov.
2. Submit the FAFSA between
January 1 and February 15.
3. Send current year income
documentation (tax forms) to the
Office of Financial Aid.
4. California students: Work with
your school to apply to the California
Grant Program; ask about our
Cal-Grant match!
5. Complete the Cal-Grant GPA
Verification by March 2.
More than 75% of new students receive
financial aid from Pacificgrants,
scholarships, loans and work study.
The University also offers academic scholarships based on academic ability
and number of transferable units. First consideration is given to students
transferring 60 or more units.
Tri-County Transfer Scholarship (fall only):
$15,000 awarded to the top appli-
cants from San Joaquin Delta College,
Modesto Junior College, American
River College, Cosumnes River College,
Sacramento City College and Folsom
Lake College. The minimum
GPA for
consideration is 3.6.
Distinguished Transfer Scholarship (fall
only): $10,000 awarded to applicants
from two- and four-year colleges. The
minimum
GPA for consideration is 3.5.
Commended Transfer Scholarship (fall or
spring): $5,000 awarded to applicants
from two- and four-year colleges. The
minimum
GPA for consideration is 3.35.

to enroll under a federal or state educational
benefit plan, you can speed processing by:

Sending a certified copy of the DD-214
(Certificate of Release or Discharge from
Active Duty) to the Office of Admission.
