Classes are currently in hybrid format. Most classroom training happens online via Zoom. Sites for in-
person skills and clinical training vary by class, and are located in Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City,
Baltimore County, Charles County, and Prince George’s County.
3. Description of the training offered:
Trainees have the opportunity to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a Geriatric Nursing
Assistant (GNA). The program is a total of 140 hours (100 of classroom and 40 hours of clinical rotation),
for approximately 8-10 weeks.
4. Trainees have the opportunity to earn the following industry-recognized certifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)
5. Am I eligible?
To be eligible for this training program, applicants must:
Be 18 years or older
Be drug free
Have an acceptable criminal background
Be physically able to perform as a CNA/GNA
Have a successful employer interview
Be willing and able to accept full-time employment upon graduation

Depending on the individual, qualified applicants take approximately 7-9 minutes to screen and gather
contact information. There are online information sessions every Tuesday at 5:30 PM and every
Wednesday at 8:30 AM.
7. How much can I expect to earn if I complete this program and obtain employment as a Certified
Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)?
Trainees who complete this program and obtain employment as a CNA/GNA can expect to earn an
average wage of $16.00-$18.00 per hour in Maryland.
8: How much do I have to pay for this program?
There is no cost to applicants except for the purchase of scrubs for clinical rotation. Scrubs can range in
cost from $100-200.
