Resuming
In-Person
Services

The
Broward
County
Clerk
of
Courts
will
resume
public
services
at
all
locations
beginning
at
8
a.m.
on
Monday,
June
1
,
enabling
customers
to
conduct
Clerk
of
Court
related
business
in
person.
For
the
safety
of
customers,
Clerk
employees
and
all
other
courthouse
stakeholders,
new
safety
protocols
have
been
implemented
for
anyone
visiting
the
courthouses
and
the
Clerk's
offices.
Those
protocols
include:
•
Requiring
all
visitors
to
Clerk's
offices
to
wear
face
coverings.
Children
under
the
age
of
two
(2)
are
excluded
from
the
requirement.
•
Placing
floor
decals
6
feet
apart
inside
customer
lobbies,
to
ensure
adequate
social
distancing.
•
Allowing
only
those
with
direct
Clerk
business
to
enter
and
line
up
in
lobbies.
•
Monitoring
lobbies
to
ensure
they
do
not
exceed
capacity
to
meet
social
distancing
guidelines.
Beginning
on
June
1
and
until
further
notice,
wedding
licenses
and
ceremonies
will
be
performed
by
appointment
only
at
all
of
the
Clerk's
courthouse
locations.
Wedding
ceremony
participants
will
be
limited
to
the
couples
and
one
witness
only.

to

applicant

be
available
if
needed.
Please
note
that
the
courts
are
continuing
to
operate
remotely
and
there
are
no
in-person
proceedings.
Parties
should
follow
instructions
that
have
been
provided
in
their
Notice
of
Hearing
regarding
remote
attendance.
